MARK 4
General Description
FRANKLIN MARK 4 analog clocks combine the reliability of a quartz movement gear train with a solid state micro-controller to achieve a low voltage energy efficient clock with multiple correction schemes. ECONOMICS:
Affordable initial acquisition cost.
Reduced power consumption
Low voltage plenum cable
24 volt models require no conduit
Mounts to a standard one-gang electrical box,
no need for special back boxes or mounting hardware.
ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS:
MARK 4 secondary clocks are compatible with popular master clock systems using a 3-wire synchronous scheme. Connect to a power source and master clock and the MARK 4 will automatically correct it's minute and second hands each hour and perform a full 12-hour correction twice daily. Errors due to power failures and Daylight Saving Time are automatically adjusted.

MK 5M TRUE SLAVE ANALOG SECONDARY CLOCKS MK 5M two hand true secondary clocks are powered and directly controlled from the master clock. A bi-stable rotary stepper motor insures minute indexing each and every minute. This positive drive method guarantees constant synchronization, not associated with any other minute impulse discipline.
Printable information sheet (pdf)
Mark 5M is a system of true secondary clocks maintaining constant accuracy through 2-wire bi-polar technology. This eliminates the need for individual clock correction inherited by outdated impulse systems. This feature is available in conjunction with the fine line of FRANKLIN MASTER CLOCKS which include the WDP M + S Master Clock and Event Programmer, the Quartz F Master Clock, or the WDP - Q Mini Master Clock.
Also available as Mark 5S with a second sweep hand
MARK 5M FEATURES:
- Full Number dial
- Round dials in 8", 12" or 16" Diameter
- Square dials in 9", 12" ir 16" Dimensions
- Light, high impact plastic molded cases in Brown, Black or Gray
- Quiet, dependable operation
- Wiring connectors included
- Shallow profile - no backbox required
- Optional wall mount/security bracket
- Optional double mount (two sides)
- Metal case with high impact plexi - glass lens available
ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS:
The bi-polar minutes impulse analog secondary clock(s) shall be FRANKLIN MARK 5M furnished or installed as designated in the plans or purchase order. Each clock shall be of (specify dimension) size having a (specify shape i.e round or square) style case.

MK 7M SECONDARY CLOCK - RETROFIT/REPLACEMENT MODEL
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
MK 7M two hand secondary clocks are powered and driven from the master clock. A ratchet and pawl mechanism coupled to electrical swithcing provides indexing each minute and hourly correction by rapid impulsing.
This model retrofits 2 or 3 wire 58th or 59th minute corrective systems, such as Simplex, Cincinnati, Stromberg, Amano and many others. Printable Info Sheet (pdf) Mark 7M is devoted to minute impulse corrective clocks, via SR-2 (2 wire) or SR-3 (3 wire) interconnection. The WDP M + S includes a permanently programmed mode for either 58th or 59th minute hourly correction reference. This system is especially suited for applications where the Master Clock controls time and attendance recorders. It is a simple matter to intermix all kinds of time display and or recorder equipment into this system and control general clock system equipment at the same time. Integrated programming of many other functions may be done simply and efficiently with this clock system and the WDP M + S master clock.

MK 8S TRUE SLAVE ANALOG SECONDARY CLOCKS
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
MK 8S three hand true secondary clocks are powered and directly controlled
from the master clock. A bi-stable rotary stepper motor insures second indexing
each and every second. This positive drive method guarantees constant synchronization,
unlike any other system featuring a sweep second hand. Printable information
sheet (pdf) MK 8S this concept operates on the principle of bi-polar
impulse each second, for driving the secondary clock movement, which
eliminates the need for individual clock correction and provides
constant accurate displayed time. This system operates using either
the WDP M+S or the Quartz F Master Clock. It couldn't be simplier
or less expensive. Integrated programming of many other functions
may be done simply and efficiently with this clock system and the
WDP M+S master clock. MK 8S FEATURES:
